Entrants must be nominated by their Music Educator. Maximum of 5 Entrants per Music Educator.
Age Requirements: There is no minumum age requirement. Maximum age is high school senior (age 18).
Who should enter?
Remember that this is a competition - not an evaluation. Selections performed should indicate a relatively acknowledged degree of proficiency. Simplified arrangements and works directly from lower-grades study books, i.e. Bastian, Aaron, Schaum, Glover, Palmer, Thompson, etc. will not be accepted for judging.
Registration Fee: $20. Please make checks payable to Steinway of Chicago and mail to Steinway of Chicago, 1205A Butterfield Road, Downers Grove, IL 60515. Registration Fee must be received by January 20, 2008. Registration fee is not refundable.
